Middle School Retreat
September 20-22, 2019
Didn’t get enough Briarwood this summer? Join us for our Fall Middle School Retreat September 20-22! We will learn how we can transform our community by being God’s agents of C.H.A.N.G.E.. In a world that pulls us towards things that are easy but not always good we are called by God to stand for what is right even if it is hard. We will learn about ourselves and each other as we create a community and discuss what it means to set an example for others no matter our age.
Our Theme Verse:
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
Activities include the Climbing Wall, Night Games, Team Building, a bonfire and Crafts!
Hanging Mobile
Each piece of the mobile will be created by a different camper and should
represent the gifts given to them by God. This will be completed so it can
be hanging in our worship space to represents how we come together as a community.
Paracord Bracelets or Friendship Bracelets
Bracelets to represent how we are all tied together as children of God and should
serve as a reminder of the lessons that we have learned here at the retreat as we
go back into our community.
This fall, explore what it means to be called by God and how you can use your gifts to respond to that call. God does not choose the equipped but rather he equips the chosen and he chooses you, every time!
Join Briarwood for it’s middle school retreat on September 20th-22nd and see how God is calling you to be an agent of C.HA.N.G.E. in your community!
